Day 11 of My Roadside Business Journey: Achieving Record Sales
Today marked a significant milestone in my roadside business venture, setting a new personal sales record. Despite the challenges, it was an exciting day filled with valuable lessons and growth opportunities.
Firstly, I apologize for the quality of the photos shared — the lighting was less than ideal, and I realized afterward that I had forgotten to capture images when my stock was fully stocked. By the time I took photos, most of my merchandise had already been sold, which is a good problem to have!
Since it was the weekly local market day, I shifted my focus from selling shirts to promoting ladies and kids’ sling bags. I priced these bags at ₹100 each, offering affordable access to quality accessories.
In an attempt to attract more customers, I experimented with a different sales technique — calling out “100rs 100rs” to passersby. While I don’t typically use such methods on regular days, I found it to be an effective approach during the bustling market environment. This strategy contributed to my highest sales to date.
Sales Update: I managed to generate ₹5600 in revenue today.
I am incredibly grateful for all the support I’ve received along this journey. Each day presents new learning opportunities, and I am committed to continuously improving and adapting. Thank you for being a part of this experience, and I look forward to sharing more updates as I progress.
