A significant portion of our directory data is sourced from OpenStreetMap®, which is open data, licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF).
2. Open Data License & Attribution We respect the open-source community that builds these maps.
- Contains information from OpenStreetMap and OpenStreetMap Foundation, which is made available under the Open Database License.
- Any “derivative databases” we create from this data are also subject to these open data principles.
3. Business Data vs. Personal Data Our intent is to publish Business Contact Information (Trading Name, Commercial Address, Business Phone Number, and Website) to facilitate commerce and local discovery. We rely on the “Legitimate Interest” basis under GDPR to process and display this data for the benefit of connecting customers with local service providers.
We generally do not knowingly publish private home addresses or personal mobile numbers unless they have been publicly advertised by the trader as their primary business contact method.
