Today, I found myself drawn into a conversation that left me both intrigued and puzzled. A close friend reached out to me this evening with exhilarating news about his recent venture. He has teamed up as a business partner with a well-established organization that boasts partnerships with over 50 companies globally. This enterprise reportedly increases their partners’ turnover every year, projecting a staggering cumulative turnover of 80-90 crores over the next four to five years.
According to him, each partner stands to gain a profit share ranging from 7-14%, equating to approximately 3-4 crores within this timeframe. He mentioned that esteemed companies, including Microsoft, are among their collaborators. Additionally, he highlighted the team’s impressive credentials, which include professionals from prestigious institutions like IITs.
The prominent figures involved in this venture are quite noteworthy; my friend works closely with industry leaders such as Mr. Digvijay Singh, an executive sales director, Mr. Bansal, a cousin of the Flipkart CEO, and Motorola CEO Rohit Lakit, among others. His network extends further to professionals engaged in diverse fields, contributing to the turnover for various companies—including well-known brands from Japan and Switzerland, as well as companies from the Middle East.
