As a passionate owner of a small pizza and pub establishment, I’ve experienced the joy of witnessing our takeaway pizza orders surge on a daily basis. The support and appreciation from our customers have been nothing short of rewarding. However, while our order volume is thriving, we face a challenge with gathering customer reviews. With nearly two years in operation and only three positive Google reviews to show for it, it’s clear that enhancing our online presence is crucial for our growth.
Many customers simply grab their pizzas and leave, which makes it difficult to ask them for feedback in person, especially when they are in a hurry. Therefore, I’m seeking creative solutions to encourage our patrons to share their experiences without imposing on their limited time.
One idea I’ve been exploring is incorporating a QR code into our pizza boxes. This code could link directly to a feedback platform, allowing customers to leave quick impressions with a simple thumbs up or down, as well as an optional comment. My proposal is to place this QR code on the inside of the pizza box lid, accompanied by a discreet prompt such as “How was your pizza?” or “Leave feedback here.” This setup would allow customers to provide feedback while enjoying their meal, making it a seamless part of their dining experience.
It’s crucial to ensure that the design of the boxes accommodates the QR code without compromising the packaging or the customer experience. The boxes will be deep enough to prevent any contact between the lid and the pizza itself.
