I Built a Game About Consumer Rights – Got Invited by Anthropic and an Investment Fund

Introducing an Innovative Browser Game for Consumer Rights Awareness

In today’s digital landscape, understanding consumer rights can often feel overwhelming. To address this issue, I developed an engaging browser game that allows players to compete against an AI chatbot in a simulated customer support scenario. The premise is simple yet impactful: players must present compelling legal arguments to persuade the bot, which represents a customer service representative denying a refund request, all while navigating 50 diverse scenarios from jurisdictions including the EU, UK, US, Australia, and India.

While my initial promotion efforts were modest, the response has been incredibly encouraging. Recently, I was invited by an investment fund to present the project, an opportunity I could not have anticipated. Moreover, I received an invitation from the official account of Claude/Anthropic to apply for the prestigious Builder Stage event in London this May. Although I am uncertain of my selection, the invitation itself is a promising indication of interest in the project.

My vision extends far beyond creating a mere game; I aim to establish a robust learning platform where individuals can actively engage with and understand their consumer rights through interactive practice rather than passive reading of legal documents. Additionally, this project has potential B2B applications that I am eager to explore. Possibilities include partnerships with law schools, consumer protection organizations, and corporate HR training programs.

I am particularly interested in hearing from those who have experience promoting similar initiatives beyond the tech sphere. What strategies proved effective for you? Additionally, I would love to gather insights on the potential B2B market in this field.

If you’re curious and want to check out the game, feel free to visit fixai.dev. I welcome any suggestions, feedback, or personal experiences that can help shape this project into a more impactful tool for consumer education. Let’s empower individuals to navigate their consumer rights confidently!
