This method, which we’ve meticulously applied over the past several months, can serve as a roadmap for others looking to achieve similar growth. Here’s how we do it:

Step 1: Build in Public on Social Media

For over a year, we have committed to transparency by documenting our journey on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Each day, we share our doubts, ongoing feature developments, obstacles we’ve faced, and even our small victories. This practice fosters genuine connections with our audience. Instead of focusing on hard selling, we prioritize relationship-building. As a result, TikTok and Instagram have emerged as our primary customer acquisition channels. Step 2: Leverage LinkedIn for Outbound Networking and Content Sharing

Every morning, I dedicate time to reaching out to 50 to 60 carefully selected individuals on LinkedIn. These connections are targeted based on their engagement with relevant posts, ensuring that our interactions are authentic rather than random. I initiate conversations by suggesting a chat with no aggressive sales tactics involved. Moreover, I share insightful content on my LinkedIn profile daily—ranging from educational posts and storytelling to lead magnets. Currently, our most effective posts are niche lead magnets that promise real value, which encourages engagement and often leads to conversions through direct messaging.

Step 3: Implement a Cold Email Strategy

We send approximately 500 tailored cold emails daily using a platform called Instantly. Prior to this, we ensure our email domain is properly warmed up and that our messaging is engaging and well-targeted. Rather than casting a wide net, we specifically target individuals who have expressed interest in areas pertinent to our service. For instance, if we offer an analytics tool, we focus on SaaS founders who recently hired marketing staff or posted job openings for SEO consultants. This diligent targeting significantly enhances our response rates, emphasizing that the substance of our emails is far more critical than their style.

Step 4: Engage on X (formerly Twitter)

X operates differently from other social media platforms; here, user interaction is key. I post four tweets daily, carefully spaced out, and engage with at least 50 posts by providing meaningful comments. This approach not only helps to gain followers but also fosters conversations that can lead to new customers. The SaaS community on X is particularly vibrant, offering valuable connections and insights that can enhance our business strategy.

Step 5: Utilize Reddit with Care

While Reddit is often underrated as a marketing channel—especially in France—it’s a powerful platform if understood correctly. We gained over 200,000 views from a single, well-crafted post. However, Reddit demands a careful approach; it’s essential to engage with the community first to build credibility. When posting, I share relatable stories or lessons learned without directly promoting our product. Genuine engagement in the comments allows for natural discussions that can lead potential customers to our offering.

Step 6: Embrace Patience and Consistency

All the strategies outlined here require a significant investment of time. Success doesn’t come overnight; it demands daily commitment over an extended period—at least six months to see substantial results. The most common pitfall for aspiring entrepreneurs is quitting too soon. By maintaining a disciplined approach, setting clear objectives, and continuously iterating based on feedback, you can pave the way for long-term success.

By following these straightforward steps, you can increase your chances of achieving impressive MRR for your SaaS business. Remember, commitment and consistency are your greatest allies in this journey.
