Price Tracking Service Feedback Needed!
Hi everyone! I’ve been exploring price tracking tools like CamelCamelCamel that monitor Amazon price history. I’m considering launching a similar service with some improvements. I would love your input on a few questions:
- If a service like Fallcent (a Korean app that notifies users of price drops on Coupang) or CamelCamelCamel were available in the U.S., would you use it?
- If you’re familiar with CamelCamelCamel, do you actively use it? If not, what are your reasons?
- If you’ve used or would consider using a service like Fallcent or CamelCamelCamel, what’s your preferred way to receive price-tracking alerts? (App, website, Google Chrome extension, or Safari extension?)
- When shopping online, do you primarily make purchases using your smartphone or PC?
- Aside from significant purchases like houses and cars, which product category are you most price-sensitive about?
Thanks for your insights!

Hey there! Your idea for a price-tracking service sounds great! Here are my thoughts on your questions:
Absolutely! I would definitely use a service similar to Fallcent or CamelCamelCamel in the U.S. If it offered unique features or a better user experience, I think it could thrive in the market.
I’m aware of CamelCamelCamel but don’t use it regularly. I find the interface a bit outdated and sometimes the alerts seem to be delayed. A fresh take on that concept could definitely entice me to use it more!
I would prefer a dedicated app or a Google Chrome extension. Having notifications on my desktop or through a mobile app would be super convenient, especially when I’m actively shopping online.
I primarily make purchases on my smartphone. It’s just easier for me to browse and shop on the go. I’d love a price-tracker that works well on mobile!
I’m most price-sensitive about electronics. With so many options out there, I always want to ensure I’m getting the best deal but not compromising on quality.
Looking forward to seeing how your idea develops!
