Despite offering online shoppers a discount code as an incentive, activating and reactivating this feature proved futile as the codes remained ineffective. -

A coupon popup should welcome visitors with a discount offer upon entering the site. However, its functionality is erratic, compounding the discount code issue. -
Limitations with Percentage Discounts
Square’s system restricts applying percentage discounts to categories, allowing only item-specific discounts or reducing the price of the highest-priced product, which falls short of comprehensive sales strategies. -
Delivery Order Complications
Managing multiple locations becomes chaotic without a clear system for identifying fulfillment points for delivery orders, creating unnecessary confusion until the transactions are accessed in the POS on the day of delivery. -
Pickup Time Glitches
I endeavored to offer flexible pickup times, but a glitch defaults every order to 9:15 AM, eliciting numerous customer inquiries and inconveniences.
Moreover, the support provided by Square was disappointing, characterized by repetitive correspondence and an apparent lack of progress. This experience has significantly shifted my perspective from a previously favorable view of Square.
While Square’s POS capabilities are commendable, I would advise exercising caution and thorough evaluation before employing their website services. Making an informed decision is vital to ensure your business infrastructure aligns with your operational needs and customer expectations.
