Living in the city and juggling rent payments was already challenging, and now, with my contract set to end this October, the situation feels even more pressing.

Having spent the last three years in a reputable position within a government sector—details which I’ll keep private—I’ve gained considerable experience and knowledge. Despite this, and the fact that I’m securing a few interviews, the elusive job offer remains just out of reach, as follow-ups from these interviews have been non-existent.

I’ve equipped myself with a robust portfolio: an apprenticeship, three internships, a degree from one of the top universities, a year-long placement, and experience in hospitality. I’ve been fortunate enough to receive awards for my previous work, as well as my current role. Yet, securing a new position has become an uphill battle.
