I’m Danish, and after several years of crafting mobile and web applications—primarily using Flutter, React Native, Node.js, and MongoDB—I’ve decided to embark on an exciting new journey: starting my own web and app development business.
As this is a solo venture, I find myself at the onset of a challenging yet exhilarating setup phase. With no prior business infrastructure in place, I’m diving into tasks that range from the mundane to the creative:
- Choosing a Unique Business Name: I’m striving for something original and meaningful, rather than settling for a generic title.
- Securing a Domain and Creating My Portfolio Site: As every developer knows, a solid online presence is indispensable.
- Deciding on My Service Focus: I need to determine whether I’ll specialize in custom applications, minimum viable products (MVPs), websites, or a combination of these offerings.
- Establishing My Brand Identity: This includes designing a logo, crafting a tagline, and setting up social media accounts to engage with potential clients.
Since I’m bootstrapping this initiative on my own, I’m being particularly mindful of how I allocate my resources—both time and finances.
