Despite my firm belief in the unique value proposition of my product, I’m currently facing a daunting struggle: the sales just aren’t coming in. Operating within a highly competitive industry, I’ve developed a genuine product with both B2C and B2B potential. What sets my business apart is not only the quality of the offering but also our commitment to sustainability. A portion of our profits is dedicated to conservation efforts, and every aspect of our operations is designed to be ethical.
Despite these merits, sales have stalled since the launch. While I’ve been fortunate to receive some positive customer reviews, the momentum has unfortunately dissipated. Recently, I’ve even reached out to numerous influencers, offering my product for free in hopes of generating buzz, but many have not responded.
Having invested every penny I had into this endeavor, I now find myself at a crossroads. At nearly 37 years old, I envisioned building something impactful for my family, yet I can’t shake the feeling of failure that persists at every turn. In an attempt to stimulate sales, I’ve reduced prices by 25%, barely covering my costs, but still, the response is lackluster. With a product that lacks shelf stability, I am increasingly anxious about the prospect of having to dispose of unsold inventory.
