Navigating the Early Stages of a New Interior Design Business

It’s been one month since I took the plunge and launched my own interior design and styling business, and I’m finding it a bit of a challenge to attract clients. The excitement of starting this journey is tempered by the struggle to connect with potential customers, and I’m reaching out to see if any of you have experienced something similar.

From the moment I decided to embark on this venture, I’ve poured my heart into creating a website and establishing a brand that reflects my passion for design. You can take a look at my work and offerings at Studio Applebees.

However, I know that having a beautiful website isn’t enough to generate business right away. If you’ve faced similar hurdles when starting out, I would greatly appreciate any tips or strategies you might have for gaining traction and finding those first clients.

I am incredibly grateful for the community’s potential insights and support. Your experiences and advice could be invaluable as I navigate these early, often daunting, stages of entrepreneurship.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to offer their thoughts; your kindness does not go unnoticed. I’m still sifting through all the wonderful feedback and aim to respond to each and every one of you soon. Let’s connect and help each other succeed in this creative industry!
