Solving Shopify Payout Challenges: Is There an Efficient Solution?

As operators of a mid-sized online store powered by Shopify, our recent scale-up has brought unexpected challenges, particularly in the realm of financial reconciliation. With the increase in order volume, the complexities in handling Shopify payouts have escalated significantly.

The intricacies of Shopify payouts arise from several components such as order payments, refunds (full and partial), gift cards, discounts, chargebacks, shipping adjustments, and platform fees. As a result, the bank deposits rarely align neatly with the gross order value, forcing our accounting team into time-consuming manual reconciliation efforts.
