Building A Dream: From Warehouse Work to Creating a Supplement Brand in the U.S.
Greetings, readers,
I’m Vlad, and my journey brought me from Ukraine to the United States in early 2023. Fleeing a war-torn landscape, I arrived here with a dream and a firm belief that hard work can pave the way to success in America.
Starting anew in a foreign land meant undertaking various jobs to make ends meet—from warehouse worker to cable technician. Each role reinforced my desire to forge my own path. My encounters with entrepreneurial clients, while installing internet, were especially motivational. These experiences fueled my ambition to build something of my own.
This determination led my brother, Dalan, and me to embark on an entrepreneurial venture, despite our lack of experience. Dalan, with a passion for fitness and a budding knowledge of supplements, joined forces with me—creative at heart—to craft the visuals, branding, and content. Thus, our brand, RAZVAL, was born, focusing on sports nutrition. Our inaugural product: a testosterone booster, was conceived with passion and precision.
We checked all the boxes:
* Professional Website ✅
* Active Instagram & TikTok ✅
* Clean, Professional Branding ✅
However, months have passed, and our metrics remain stagnant: we’ve made zero sales.
The profound silence is disheartening, especially after countless nights invested in the venture. My efforts to create something authentic seem to have vanished into the void. I’m reaching out for guidance, wondering if I’m overlooking a key component or simply need a fresh perspective.
To my fellow entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts, have you ever faced a similar challenge? If you were in my position, what steps would you take?

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your thoughts and advice would be invaluable.
Warm regards,
Vlad

Hi Vlad, first of all, thank you for sharing your inspiring journey — transitioning from challenging circumstances to building a new business takes immense courage and resilience. It’s clear you and Dalan are deeply passionate, which is a strong foundation.
In terms of moving forward, I recommend taking a close look at your marketing funnel. While your branding and social media presence are strong, driving traffic to your site and converting visitors into customers often requires targeted strategies. Consider running small-scale ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok to test different audiences and messaging. Focus on crafting compelling, authentic stories around your brand’s origin, values, and the quality of your ingredients, especially emphasizing your unique background and mission, which can resonate deeply with consumers.
Additionally, engaging with communities—whether through fitness forums, local events, or influencer collaborations—can help build trust and word-of-mouth. Sometimes, offering sample packs, limited-time discounts, or participating in fitness expos can ignite initial sales and buzz.
Lastly, analyze your website’s user experience: Is the purchasing process smooth? Are you providing enough educational content around your product’s benefits? Collect feedback from friends, potential customers, or industry peers to identify any hurdles or gaps.
Remember, many successful brands start slow, and persistence coupled with iterative testing can unlock growth. Keep refining your approach, stay authentic to your story, and don’t be discouraged — your journey and background can become a powerful part of your brand’s narrative. Wishing you the best as
