Exploring Boutique 3PL Solutions in Florida and Georgia for Your Startup

As a budding entrepreneur gearing up to introduce our startup to the market, I’m currently in the process of identifying the most appropriate third-party logistics (3PL) partner to align with our business objectives. Our product line includes a limited number of SKUs, each with somewhat sizable packaging dimensions weighing between 27 to 30 pounds. Initially, our monthly output is forecasted to remain in the low hundreds or even fewer.
I’m in search of a comprehensive 3PL provider that offers a wide range of services, including international ocean freight, customs management, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) fulfillment. However, I’m open to considering standalone 3PL services depending on the circumstances. Currently, we’re evaluating two supplier options: one offering Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms and the other Freight on Board (FOB), which would require us to manage the logistics and customs clearance.
Our preference is to collaborate with smaller, boutique 3PL providers based in Florida, though we’re open to partners in Georgia, considering our primary market focus will be the Gulf Coast region. It’s vital for us to find a partner who excels in customer service and can offer the flexibility to support smaller businesses and startups.
