Starting a small Pressure washing business.

Stepping Into the Pressure Washing Industry: A Side Hustle Journey

Embarking on a new venture in the pressure washing arena can be both exciting and daunting, especially when it’s intended as a supplementary income. With a basic pressure washer at my disposal, I’ve realized its limitations in handling more demanding jobs. However, my expertise lies in soft washing roofs, and this niche is where I plan to begin while gradually expanding my equipment inventory as the business grows.

A pressing question on my mind is the legal structure of this budding enterprise. Given that my efforts will mostly be concentrated on weekends and afternoons, I wonder if establishing a Limited Liability Company (LLC) is necessary at this stage, or if conducting operations on a cash-only basis without formal business registration is a feasible starting point. I’m open to all insights and advice from those who have navigated similar paths. Your guidance would be immensely appreciated as I step forward in this entrepreneurial endeavor.
