The landlord plans to sell the property, and regrettably, the business had been struggling due to a lack of proper management. In an unexpected yet uplifting turn of events, a conversation with the landlord led to a potential opportunity. He proposed a deal where I would be allowed to lease the cafe space. This arrangement would stand until I earned enough to purchase it outright or a new buyer came along willing to continue renting to us. Moreover, there’s an additional apartment upstairs, presenting an appealing avenue for supplementary income if ownership is acquired.

Here’s the catch: I find myself standing at the crossroads with no savings to underpin such an endeavor. My life lacks a concrete plan; I’m currently in college but not particularly passionate about my chosen program. The allure of the unknown is strong since I have little to lose. Friends, family, and loyal customers rally behind me, chanting for me to step into this vision I’ve cherished for so long.

For as long as I can remember, owning a cafe has been my dream. Over the years, I’ve crafted a menu and accumulated valuable experience working in similar settings. I am fortunate to have friends skilled as baristas, eagerly ready to embark on this adventure with me.
