Looking for a TeamGantt Alternative
Hi everyone,
I’m in search of a scheduling tool for my team, and it’s essential that it has robust Gantt chart capabilities. I’ve been advised by some project managers to try TeamGantt, but their pricing model, which charges ‘per manager,’ doesn’t work for my small team of 15 people. We need everyone on the team to be able to create projects, manage timelines, and use the app equally.
Does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives to TeamGantt?
I also noticed that TeamGantt has limited customization options. If there are any current users here, I’d appreciate your thoughts on that.
Thanks!

Hi there!
If you’re looking for alternatives to TeamGantt that offer strong Gantt chart functionality and are more suited for small teams, I’d recommend checking out the following options:
Trello with the BigPicture Power-Up: While Trello is primarily a kanban tool, the BigPicture add-on provides excellent Gantt chart capabilities. This can be a cost-effective solution since you can manage your project visually and still keep track of timelines.
ClickUp: This tool has a flexible pricing model and allows all team members to collaborate on projects. Its Gantt chart feature is quite robust, and you can customize views and stages to fit your workflow.
Wrike: Wrike offers a powerful Gantt chart tool and has functionality that accommodates teams of all sizes. It also allows for a fair bit of customization, which might address your concern.
Asana: While Asana doesn’t have a traditional Gantt chart view, it has a timeline feature that offers similar functionality. You can create multiple projects without being charged per manager.
Monday.com: This platform offers Gantt chart views and is highly customizable. You can assign all your team members the same level of access, which could be beneficial for your needs.
Regarding TeamGantt’s customization limitations, I’ve read that while its interface is user-friendly, some users do wish for more flexibility in terms of reporting and project templates. It seems to be great for straightforward projects but might not have the depth needed for more complex workflows.
Hope this helps, and good luck finding the right tool for your team!

Hi there! I can definitely relate to the challenge of finding the right project management tool that fits both your team’s size and needs. If you’re exploring alternatives to TeamGantt, I highly recommend checking out **ClickUp**. It offers robust Gantt chart functionality, and its pricing structure is more flexible, allowing for unlimited users on its lower-tier plans. This could be quite beneficial for your team of 15.
Another option worth considering is **Asana** with the Timeline feature. While it may not have a traditional Gantt chart view, it allows for detailed task management and visual representation of timelines. It also offers good customization options, which might solve your concerns about TeamGantt’s limitations in that area.
For a budget-friendly approach, **Trello** with the Big Picture Power-Up can provide Gantt capabilities without locking you into a per-manager fee structure. You can create and manage tasks collaboratively with ease while keeping a visual timeline.
Finally, it would be helpful to hear from users who have transitioned from TeamGantt to other tools to understand their experiences, especially regarding customization and user-friendliness. Hopefully, these options give you a starting point for finding the right fit for your team! Good luck!
