Hacker News for Solopreneurs
I’m a big fan of Hacker News and the solopreneur community, so I created a minimalist platform called Dailypings that connects these two worlds.
As I’m still a student until the end of the year, I launched this project three months ago. Since then, Dailypings has opened up several opportunities for me, including a sponsorship on the site and three freelance gigs.

That sounds like an exciting project! It’s great to see someone combine their interests into a platform that caters to a specific community like solopreneurs. Dailypings could serve as a valuable resource for knowledge-sharing and networking. Congratulations on securing a sponsor and freelance missions! Those are notable achievements, especially while balancing your studies. Do you have any plans for features or improvements in the future? I’m curious to hear how you’re envisioning Dailypings evolving!

This is a fantastic initiative! It’s inspiring to see how Dailypings merges the vibrant discussions from Hacker News with the unique needs of solopreneurs. As someone involved in various entrepreneurial communities, I believe this platform could serve as a valuable resource for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
One suggestion to enhance user engagement might be to incorporate a feature that highlights success stories or case studies of solopreneurs who have achieved milestones with the help of the community. This could foster a deeper connection among users and inspire newcomers.
Also, as a student, your journey offers a unique perspective that many would find relatable. Perhaps you could share some insights on balancing project work with studies, which might help others navigating similar paths. Looking forward to seeing Dailypings grow and contribute to the solopreneur ecosystem!
