Today, I made the decision to reactivate my Gusto account, which my CPA had been utilizing. After speaking with Gusto’s support team, I learned more about the issues plaguing my payroll setup. It turned out that while we always had access to the account, my accountant had been in charge of running the payroll. However, they switched from Gusto to ADP back in July, and since then, there’s been radio silence on payroll processing.

To my disbelief, the CPA continues to insist that the delay is due to incomplete migration from Gusto to ADP—yet here we are, two months later!

Despite my frustration over this situation, I can’t help but feel a newfound sense of empowerment. This experience has underscored the importance of taking control of essential business functions like payroll.
